Heading towards 46 years old now - What position do you have and what do you do at work:
My position is Logistics Manager. I work quite a bit with the logistics between us and a large manufacturing company in Poland that belongs to the same corporate group as us. I order goods from them that we resell to some of our largest customers, I also enter sales orders for these customers and ensure that we receive the goods at the right time in relation to when our customers want them delivered.
I am also responsible for a large portion of other purchases that we need for our daily production. I also work quite a bit with international freight where I book pickups from us for our foreign customers, and therefore I am also responsible for invoicing this with the correct customs codes, weights, and so on.
I also create pro forma invoices for those of our customers from whom we require advance payment before we either start production or ship items we have in stock. I am also responsible for the physical inventory count, which we are legally required to conduct once a year. I have also been responsible for production planning, but recently got a colleague to help with that. - What do you like about the job – do you enjoy it?
It is that it is quite versatile, as I have quite a few different tasks.

- How did you find and get a job here?
I went to business school and was getting pretty tired of school, and at that time my now deceased mother worked at Backer. So then I asked her, “Can't you check if there's any job available for me at Backer?” and there was! So then I started in August 1980. - What education/background do you have:
I only have vocational school, nothing more than that. - What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies?
I try to work out quite a bit, mostly running, but I also try to fit in some rowing machine sessions in addition to some cycling and occasional walks.. - How many countries have you visited?
That is difficult to answer, approximately 12 - What is your favorite fruit?

I can sing in the car, but that's when I'm alone - What do you listen to in the car? Music, podcast, radio, nothing?
I mostly listen to the radio in the car, but when I work out, I mostly listen to podcasts or music
