Through 2023, we at Norske Backer have worked a lot on sustainability - both the social and environmental aspects! Now we have finally completed our sustainability report, which you can read at the bottom of the case here.<\/p>\n\n

In 2022, we set up a comprehensive 5-year year sustainability strategy<\/a> that we were to work on going forward, with an accompanying action plan<\/a>). In addition, we committed ourselves in June 2023 to setting short-term research-based emission reduction targets<\/a> through the Science Based Target initiative<\/a>), where we committed to reducing our emissions by 40% by 2030. Among the things we have worked on are investment and planning for solar panels on the roof (to be completed in 2024), reduction of paper use and electricity, in addition to the fact that we have, and will continue to, work on increasing the proportion of women and equalizing the age balance at Norske Backer.<\/p>\n\n

All the work we have done in 2023 has really yielded results in a reduction of CO2<\/sub> CO2 by as much as 28% on scope 1 and 2! In addition, we were also lucky enough to win Odal Sparebank's sustainability award<\/a> for 2023 \u2013 imagine that!<\/p>\n\n
