This free-standing heating mantle can be placed directly on the worktop and provides an easy overview of the flask's contents. Each heating jacket undergoes a finishing step that includes power supply, allowing it to heat up briefly. This final step helps to reduce the amount of off-gassing (smoke caused by the fiberglass particles being heated) produced the first few times the heating jacket is heated.
