Norske Backer's tabletop heating mantles provide even heat distribution for round-bottomed flasks. This free-standing heating mantle can be placed directly on the worktop and provides an easy overview of the flask's contents. A practical, self-supporting low-wattage heating mantle that is a safe alternative to other heating methods such as a bunsen burner.
Temperature controller is required for safe operation of this product.

Please note that the actual product color may differ from the images shown. Each heating jacket undergoes a finishing step that includes power supply, allowing it to heat up briefly. This final step helps to reduce the amount of off-gassing (smoke caused by the fiberglass particles being heated) produced the first few times the heating jacket is heated. As a result, the heating jacket may be discolored when it arrives at our customers.
