Norske Backer's lower hemisphere heating mantles provide even and low-power heat distribution for round-bottomed flasks. They are made with a durable outer sheath of fiberglass fabric and stranded resistance wire, providing both flexibility and longevity. These heating mantles are a safe and efficient alternative to traditional heat sources such as Bunsen burners in laboratory environments.
They are specifically designed for heating the lower part of glass flasks and are easy to mount on a basket ring stand. The heating caps are suitable for temperatures up to 842 °F (450 °C) and can be used in a wide range of experimental setups.
Note: Temperature controls are required for safe use.
Color deviation: Product color may vary. Each heating jacket is test heated prior to delivery, which may reduce discoloration and flue gas (outgassing) on first use.
