Our benchtop models of heating jackets provide even heat distribution for round-bottomed flasks and are a safe and convenient solution for laboratory heating. These freestanding heating mantles can be placed directly on the bench and provide easy visual access to the contents of the flask. They are a safe alternative to traditional heat sources such as Bunsen burners and are well suited to teaching, laboratory and research environments.
The heating jackets have a low watt density, providing gentle and stable heating. They can withstand temperatures up to 482°C (900°F) and can be stacked for easy storage.
Note: Temperature controls are required for safe use.
Important: Product color may vary. Each heating jacket undergoes a finishing process with test heating, which may result in visible discoloration. This reduces outgassing (smoke from heating fiberglass particles) on first use.
