Tube element of acid-resistant steel (AISI 316L). Brass head 1¼” and 2” has a protective tube with an internal diameter of 10.6 mm. for thermostat and/or temperature limiter.

The Backer heat exchanger is the most common alternative for heating liquids. It is used as a heat source in e.g. water heaters, boilers, in oil plants and for industrial fluid heating. The flasks consist of Backer tube elements that are soldered or welded to flanges, element heads or nipples. They are combined with thermostats, temperature limiters and junction boxes.
