Norske Backer is looking for a skilled and structured certification and documentation manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to combine technical expertise, innovation and regulations in a challenging and varied role.
In this position, you will be a key person in our product development, responsible for ensuring that our products meet national and international requirements for certification and safety. You will work closely with the design department, quality manager, sales and company management.
At Norske Backer, you will have the opportunity to work with advanced technical solutions within electrical engineering and mechanical construction.
You will play an important role in maintaining and further developing our certifications, as well as acting as a contact person towards notification and certification bodies such as Nemko, DNV, UL and VDE.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a structured way, has an eye for detail and is able to find creative solutions. If you have experience with technical documentation and international certification processes, this is a big plus in this position. Most important is the ability to work against standards and documentation.
The position involves responsibility for:
- Overall responsibility for maintaining documentation and certifications in accordance with applicable rules and legislation. Collaborates closely with the design department and quality manager.
- Ensure that the company meets the requirements of national and international standards, such as the ATEX directives and IECEx, as well as product labeling and follow-up according to UL and VDE.
- Be Norske Backer's contact person for notification and certification bodies, such as Nemko, DNV, UL, VDE, etc.
- Lead and participate in document building and certification of products.
- Keep abreast of changes in standards and directives applicable to Norske Backer's product groups.
- Attend industry and product-related courses and seminars.
To succeed in the role, we are looking for you who have:
- An advantage, but not a requirement, is an electrical or electromechanical education from a university college or technical college.
- Experience with documentation work.
- Experience/knowledge of control engineering
- Good at communicating in Norwegian and English.
- English is the working language in much of the associated documentation for Norske Backer's products
- Creative, ability to see solutions.
- Master the use of computer programs/office support programs.
- Independent and structured, but able to seek assistance when needed.
Have you in addition:
- The experience and insight to coordinate and manage product development with associated documentation
- Insight and knowledge of certification processes, as well as in a structured way handle internal and external system, product and document audits
- Ability to read, interpret and understand standards and directives
