Work tasks:

• Preparation of technical documentation for production and customers
• Collaborate with design department, purchasing and production
• Prepare quotes for inquiries and be proactive towards customers
• Provide technical support for our customers
• Be a bit of a "cream puff", curious and constantly looking for new markets/solutions
• Sell our standard stock items, as well as solution sales
• Place orders and confirm to customers
• Follow up new and existing customers

Desired qualifications:

• We are looking for an enterprising, positive and outgoing person who is a good relationship builder and who is able to understand customer expectations and needs
• The right profile has a professional degree from a college/university in electrical/automation. Relevant industry experience can compensate.
• You have experience in electrical installation/automation, preferably also with sales experience or from construction.
• You have generally good IT knowledge
• You communicate well in both Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing.
• You enjoy working in teams and with customers
• You have a commercial approach to problem solving and are both practical and analytical.

Norske Backer is a manufacturer and supplier of heating products for onshore and offshore industries. Much of our capacity involves the production of customized process heaters made to customer specifications. In other words, we handle the entire process, from defining the requirements to designing and manufacturing the finished product.

Our factory in Kongsvinger has approximately 50 employees and an expected turnover of

NOK 100 million this year. Norske Backer is the only manufacturer of the heating element in Norway. These can be used in water heaters, engine heaters, tube and panel heaters, hot air batteries, electric brake resistors, oil heaters, etc. We have a mechanical department and an electrical control department for our products.

As part of the Backer Group and NIBE, we also broker sales of other types of heating solutions produced by the Group.
