After ten years away from Norske Backer, Anders, a well-known and experienced employee, has found his way back to us. The former CNC operator, who first started his career with us in 2005, has now returned after spending a decade in Tønsberg. It is with great pleasure that we welcome Anders back to our ever-growing family.
When we asked Anders what motivated him to return to Norske Backer, his answer was clear: "I enjoyed my first period here so much that there wasn't much to consider when I decided to move back. It was the first place I thought of when looking for a job; there are a lot of great people here and a good environment," he says. "I just had to flirt a little with Uno again, and things were settled," Anders explains about how he got his job back at Norske Backer. This sense of satisfaction and the positive work environment at Norske Backer has always been something we are proud of, and we are delighted to hear that it was a key factor in his decision to return.
Anders' decision to come back was met with open arms by our production manager. "I know what the guy can do and what he's capable of, so there was no doubt at all. I said yes right away, just asked when he could start," says the production manager. The fact that there was also an open position in the department made the decision even easier.
Norske Backer is a leading player in the production of electric heating elements and thermal system solutions. Our products are used in everything from industrial applications to household appliances, and we are proud to be a reliable supplier to our customers. Anders has previously contributed to this success, and we are confident that his return will further strengthen our team.
Anders brings with him a wealth of experience, both from his previous time with us and from the years he spent away. "It was from 2005 to 2014, but I spent a year in the military in between," he says, reflecting on his previous period with us. After spending the last ten years in Tønsberg, where he worked as an excavator operator, he is now ready to take on new challenges as a CNC operator at Norske Backer again.
The job of a CNC operator involves a lot of responsibility and precision. "There's a lot of looking at drawings and creating various parts in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Mostly working with metals," Anders explains. This is a role that requires both technical insight and practical experience, which he undoubtedly brings with him from his previous work.
